The sliding tarpaulin opens on both sides. Where a forklift cannot reach the rear, loading happens from the side — which saves more time at the ramp than any amount of fast driving.
How many pallets fit — the honest arithmetic
The load bed is 4.20 m long and 2.20 m wide. By floor area alone that takes eight to ten Euro pallets, depending on how they are turned. But the payload is 700 kg. Across ten pallets that would be 70 kg each — hardly any real consignment is that light. In practice the weight, not the space, is almost always the limit. Give us the count **and** the weight and we will say straight away whether it is one trip or two.
Where a Sprinter pays off — and where it does not
For one to five pallets within the Rhine-Main area a 3.5-tonner is usually the cheapest and fastest option: no waiting for a groupage tour, no transhipment depot, no damage risk during transfer. As soon as the weight goes well beyond 700 kg, or the goods are stacked on cage pallets, a truck with a lift makes more sense — and we will say so rather than sell you two trips.

Do you need a forklift at the destination?
No. The tail lift sets the pallet down without a forklift, and a pallet truck then moves it off the vehicle. Just tell us in advance whether there is a ramp at the destination.
Do you drive outside the Rhine-Main area?
Nationwide on request. On longer routes a direct run pays off above all when the goods are delicate or a fixed appointment depends on them.
Are Euro pallets included in the price?
We do not exchange pallets. The pallets your goods stand on travel with them — a pallet exchange would have to be agreed separately in advance.
