A student room, a shared-flat room, a one- or two-room flat. The move for which a big removals firm is too expensive and your own car too small.
What fits in one trip
Twenty cubic metres sounds like a lot, and for one room it is. A two-room flat with a kitchen, on the other hand, usually means two trips — which within the city is often still cheaper than a bigger vehicle. Weight follows the same rule as always: 700 kg. With household goods that is rarely tight, except for books and tools; they are the reason boxes should be packed small.
The date stands or falls with the parking space
In Bornheim, Sachsenhausen or the Nordend the parking position matters more than the driving distance. A temporary parking ban has to be applied for at the city several working days ahead; without one you may end up stopping 40 metres away and carrying every box those 40 metres. We will tell you with the quote whether it is worth the effort at your address.

Do you bring boxes and blankets?
Blankets, straps and tools yes. Moving boxes you get yourself — used ones cost a fraction, and you need them days in advance for packing anyway.
What does a small move cost?
It depends on floor, lift, volume and distance — so we do not quote a catalogue price but a fixed one, once we know those four things. It then holds even if the day runs long.
At weekends too?
Saturdays and Sundays until 18:00 as standard. End-of-month handovers in particular should be booked early — the last days of the month go first.
